Dr. Helen Caldicott - "Danger of Nuclear Weapons" - This Week on Keep It Green

Simran and Dr. Helen Caldicott

This week on Keep It Green, Dr. Helen Caldicott of the Nuclear Policy Research Institute returns to talk about nuclear arms proliferation around the world. In this three part interview (available in the video section on the left) Dr. Caldicott and host Simran Sethi discuss the ever-increasing dangers posed by nuclear weapons throughout the world.

Dr. Caldicott describes how the world’s nuclear weapons are still on a hair trigger alert and how the number of targeted countries has increased not decreased in the post Cold War era. Dr. Caldicott warns of potential dangers in these unstable times and asserts the best way to protect this planet from destruction is through education and disarmament.
